About us

Your judgement-free, boutique pilates studio

Our promise

Motivate, educate and inspire

We believe movement is essential to a healthy and happy life. Your chosen form of exercise should be enjoyable and fun—one that celebrates, not punishes, your body. We never speak of or advertise “weight-loss” or promote new-age fitness fads. Instead, we focus on building sustainable habits for a vibrant future. From daily activities like carrying groceries to playing with your children and grandchildren at the park, our goal is to empower you to live a vibrant, active, pain-free life.

We promise to be your judgement-free accountability partner that provides motivation and hope so that you can return to wellness through movement that is sustainable for a lifelong practice.

The founder

Amelia Low

With over 15 years of experience as a teacher of movement, Amelia finds great joy in empowering others to optimize their movement and lead vibrant lives.

As a professional dancer in New York City, she began her career teaching ballet at the highest levels. She credited Pilates in keeping herself injury free and started including Pilates conditioning in the dancers’ training to enhance strength and mindfulness. This ignited a passion for sustainable fitness, which continued to grow, inspiring her to pursue Pilates instructor certification from Stott Pilates (Merrithew Health and Fitness).

“I believe that movement should be sustainable and fun, one that celebrates the body.”

Amelia founded Etobicoke Pilates in 2022, initially offering one-on-one Pilates sessions as the sole instructor. Her goal was simple: to share her knowledge, passion, and love of movement with the world.

As the studio gained momentum, it expanded its offerings and welcomed more instructors, prompting a rebrand to Good Forme Pilates in 2024. The studio’s clients and their stories continue to inspire and fuel Amelia’s desire to support and transform lives.
